There’s something so special about capturing your baby in the place where you brought them home. The nursery you prepared, the cozy corner you feed in, the couch where you all fit together for the first time.
Most families book during the second or third trimester to guarantee a spot. I recommend photographing your newborn within the first 2–3 weeks, but truly anytime in the first 2 months is beautiful. Newborn sessions with me aren’t about tiny posed moments… they’re about connection, emotion, and the way your baby fits in your arms. That magic exists at every age.
That’s completely normal and totally expected. Newborn sessions are baby-led, which means we slow down, feed, soothe, change, and take breaks whenever needed. Crying is not a problem. Fussiness is not a problem. I’m a mom too, and nothing phases me. Some of the most beautiful images happen in those quiet in-between moments of comforting.
I photograph babies in a lifestyle, natural way. No stiff posing, no baskets, no complicated props. Just baby-led positioning and gentle guidance to help you hold, cuddle, and interact naturally. Your baby will always be safe, supported, and comfortable.
Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully. Creams, tans, whites, soft greens, light blues and gentle patterns. Once you book, you’ll receive a full newborn style guide, with suggestions for mom, dad, siblings, and baby. My goal is to help you look and feel your best without stress.
Please don’t stress about tidying, truly. Leave the dishes in the sink, we won't photograph them anyway. I only need a window with good natural light and I can move things as needed. Your home doesn’t need to be perfect… it just needs to be lived in.
I’ll send a simple prep guide before the session so everything feels easy.
About 1.5–2 hours. This gives us enough time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and slow, intentional storytelling. There’s never any rushing.
Absolutely! I encourage it. Sibling interactions create some of the sweetest, most meaningful images, and I always work at their pace to help them feel comfortable and included.
